Thread collaborators are in integral part of the Thread community fabric. By providing expertise, resources, and opportunities to students, volunteers, and the organization, collaborators become real agents of social change, improving student outcomes and facilitating relationships between Baltimore’s businesses and organizations and a talented pool of university- and community-based volunteers, ultimately creating a leadership pipeline to support a growing Baltimore economy.

It was energizing to meet such dedicated and passionate people. I’m very impressed with how process and results driven the organization is. Thread is clearly an organization that is committed to continuous improvement of its own operations. I think a real reason for Thread’s success is that it works hard to facilitate a meaningful and productive experience for the volunteers.
